Organic savings during HT Super Doubles

Postby angien » Sun Feb 21, 2010 9:58 pm

Has anyone else been having good luck this week with HT's Super Doubles? I sure have and wanted to share.

Organic Valley's website is full of $1 off coupons that are doubling to make for some great dairy deals (cream cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese). Ditto with their sister site Organic Prairie for meat deals.

Since I have little ones, I've used Earth's Best coupons, which is especially great because their stuff is also on sale this week.

Horizon has one $1 coupon out on their website for yogurt.

My favorite deal is the whipping cream from Organic Valley which is $2.19 per half pint, and it comes to .19 cents after the $1 coupon doubles. I don't use whipping cream but I decided to make butter from it, and it tastes soooo good using this whipping cream.

I'm sure there are many more out there, too. Please post if you have found any!

I haven't been able to find this at my HT. Where is it in the store? Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place!

Christine - at my HT (on Leesville & Strickland), the whipping cream is in the milk case, on the far left upper corner of the case. The half pints are teeny tiny, so they are easy to miss. HTH!

If it's not too late, I also found it at the HT on Creedmoor Rd, in the very upper right of their milk cooler. They seem to have it in reverse of the one on Leesville.

Here is another one more if it is not too late. At the HT on Creedmoor, they had a little recipe booklet (just a paper folded in half) near the Stonybrook yogurt. Inside is a $1/1 Q that will make the giant tubs of yogurt 99cents.
