Glade coupons

Does anyone know whether you can get glade plugins and use the BOGO coupon with the $4 off coupon... making it free for 2?

Either way, there is supposed to be a sale at Walgreens for these... BOGO which would be the same deal if you use just the BOGO coupon.

RE: Weekly Meal Plans 8/25 - 8/31

Ladies,
Crock pots are your best friend. I'm even thinking of getting 2-3 more smaller ones ( My one , is a huge crockpot ) for the following reason:
Weekly meal planning is terrific, but I have found that if I can take just one or two days out of the month and cook in bulk, I can have almost a full month of meals in the freezer. I take meals out about every 2-3 days so that they all will be thawed when it's time to heat up.
Here are things I freeze often to speed up my meals.
Breakfast: homemade pancakes, waffles, egg/cheese & hashbrown casseroles ( for sat or Sun ), quiche, strata's, and lots of bacon and sausage that I pre cook, homemade bicuits ( frozen before baked )

Lunches : This usually consists of leftover dinners and but if I make alot of soups or chili's, I'll usually freeze a few small bowls for kids. I then pair with a half/whole sandwich and fruit.

Dinners: baked spagetti, lazagna, chicken rolls, pork chops ( cooked anyway ) beef roasts ( stewed, sliced, chopped, shredded ) enchilada's, baked and boiled deboned chicken, sloppy Joe mix, stuffed potatoes, soups, chili, ect.........

misc. to speed time: rices, spagetti noodles, sauteed mushrooms/bellpeppers/onions, cheeses, homemade bread ( loaf and french ) veggie dishes like squash casserole .....etc.....

also, if the dinners we are having over the next few days have veggies that take a little time to cook, I'll try to have those cooking while I'm doing other things also, and just make sure they are appropriated to the right meal when that night comes. ( I make several ahead of time, in other words )

These things really save alot of time, especially the sauteed veggies. My husband sometimes wants an omelet at the last minute, so I just break the thin layer of veggie in my ziplock, dump out the amount I want in the pan and in minutes he's eating a good home cooked omelet that didn't take me so long to make. I sautee each veggie individually, cool them, then pour them in individual ziplock freezer bags. Flatten out the bag and lay in the freezer so it will freeze flat. Once frozen, you can break it and stuff it in any nook of the freezer. It won't hurt a thing. then just sppon or pour out what you need.

If you catch eggs on sale again like Lowe's Foods had them, you can freeze those too. In egg casseroles or in old ice trays. Yep, crack 'em or scramble 'em and put in the old timey ice cube trays, freeze and put in a freezer ziplock bag. One cube equals about one egg in all recipes.

I agree with everyone that says you'll make less trips to the store and save more by doing meals ahead or having a menu plan. I can tell the difference inme if I slip and let my stash run out. My evenings become very hectic, and we don't eat as healthy. You might also find that you don't run out of certain items as fast, In my house that would be milk, butter, bread, tea,..... I think it's because no one is fending for themselves and turning to old standby's like sandwiches, cereal, chocolate milk.....

Oh, on Sunday eve or night I try to make sure I have beverages aplenty in my fridge. IE: decaf tea ( gallon + 1/2 cup sugar or honey ) koolaid (1/2 cup sugar/2 quarts gets sweeter after a day )water, sometimes juice, premixed homemade choc drink for kids ( will explain )
and sometimes jasmin or mint tea ( w/honey) This helps keep everyone happy and I can better gauge how much sugar/junk they all get.

With milk going through the roof, but my husband and boys liking choc milk, I came up with something that even fools my husband. I'm a skim milk person ( we really only use milk for cereal, cooking and choc milk ), and everyone else in my family has grown so used to skim milk that whole milk or 2% just tastes gross to them ( transition for that change was about 2-3 months ) any way, I buy 1 or 2 %, sometimes even whole milk if it's cheap, and I pour half of the jug into another container. I then fill the containersup with water, shake and refrigerate. I will take a portion of one of the jugs, pour it into another jug, fill again with water ,shake and add just enough choc to flavor, shake again a put in fridge over night. So, I take one gallon, split it ,fill with water, and have 2 gallons, then take a portion of that gallon, pour into another container, add water to that, then choc, shake and I end up with at least 2 1/4 gallons of milk for all our needs , but for the cost of one gallon. I have even added more water and had 3 gallons, if I used whole milk and I thought the water/milk mix was too thick. I'm telling you this fools even my picky husband and my even pickier older daughterswhen they have come to visit. My boys still love their choc "milk" , I don't mind them having more than one glass because it's lots of water and I'm not at the store every 5-6 days buying milk. I've been doing this for about 4 months now and it does not affect baking or any recipe I have used. Once cold, it just tastes like milk and the choc drink if watered alot can tase like a yoo hoo drink.
There are books out called once a month cooking, and various other forms of the same thing, but the key is Faye's ever present Meal planning. Only you plan for a month instead of a week. I have done many different stages of it, but it all is a great time saver !!!
Happy cooking !!
Need info on OBGYN

Hello Everyone!

I am fairly new to the Raleigh area, inbetween Knightdale and Garner. I am looking for an OBGYN that comes highly recommended. I can search providers through our insurance but I have no clue who is good and who is not. I am not currently pregnant but want to start trying soon. I need someone who is good at removing IUD's and also will perform a VBAC. Thank you to anyone who can provide any information!
I second the crock pots. Put a crock pot recipe book on your wishlist for birthday or the holidays. Our easy meal when we have to eat and run consists of Uncle Bens 90 second rice, canned beans or potatoes, and a Hormel heat and eat meat meal. 6 minutes tops. The rice and veggies can be stockpiled when on sale and the Hormel meals go on sale from time to time and will freeze. I just thaw in fridge during the day I plan to eat. Lowes food had these BOGO a while back and SuperTarget has them for 4.14 every day. They have a wide variety of meats too so we don't get too bored. Another idea might be to cook a few things when you get home later in the evening and heat up the next evening for dinner. I used to do that when I was on retail hours.
